Prescriptions

Prescription medicines can only be shipped once we have received a prescription that has been signed by your vet. Your vet is obliged to write a prescription for your pet’s medication if you so request.

Print off our Prescription Template by clicking Here and have your vet fill it out. If your vet wishes to use their own prescription or you already have one, just send that.

 

Refills: Be sure to ask your vet to fill out the number of times the prescription can be repeated. This will make your re-ordering easy.

 

 Order & Send: Place your order online and send us the ORIGINAL prescription by POST, FAX or SCAN and EMAIL a copy of your prescription *.
*Please note: if faxing, sending or emailing a copy of the prescription the original is required to be sent by post within 30 days  of placing your order.

  • Make a copy before posting your prescription in case it is lost in the post.
  • Send your prescription by Signed For, 1st Class post, and bear in mind that 1st Class post can take up to 5 working days to reach    us.
  • If your order is urgent, please send your prescription by Special Delivery as we have no influence over Royal Mail's delivery times.
  • Keep an eye out for our email confirming receipt of your prescription.

We email all clients within 12 hours of receipt of a prescription (on business days only) to advise that we have received their prescription and of any repeat orders that may be made with that prescription.
Repeat prescriptions sent to us before the change remain valid although if you have not already done so, we ask that you send the original prescription in for our legal records.
